Invitational Tournament
The first national championship for NAIA schools is contested with Menlo coming out on top at Jamestown (ND).

Championship canceled due to COVID pandemic.

Officially Official
In April the NAIA votes to make women's wrestling the 28th sport officially sanctioned. The 3 invitational tournaments are still recognized.

Tehani Sores of Indiana Tech and Camille Fournier of Texas Wesleyan earn their 5th AAs.

Just short
Carolina Moreno of Southern Oregon comes up just short in her attempt to win 4 titles.

Finals
Erin Hikiji of Providence (MT) is the 1st to make four finals appearances, winning her 2nd title.
